Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwath Narayan on Monday stated Ola Cabs has agreed to provide 500 cars to the government for transporting docs and for different COVID-19 associated activities.
“Olacabs has agreed to offer 500 OLA motors for #Covid_19 related sports in Karnataka These vehicles might be used by the government for travel by medical doctors and Covid 19 associated sports. Greatly liked pass by @olacabs and its CEO @bhash ! #IndiaFightsCorona,” Ashwath Narayan tweeted.
Announcing lockdown aimed toward preventing the unfold of coronavirus, Karnataka authorities on March 23 had said, Ola, Uber, taxis, autorickshaws and different hired offerings shall no longer be approved for passenger transport besides for procuring important commodities and clinical emergencies.
